Beaucoup de gens croient que Tony Hawk a été le premier à transformer la façon de faire du skate. Si c'est ce qu'ils croient, cela ne démontre qu'une chose: qu'ils sont jeunes, et qu'ils ont besoin de chercher plus loin, et de remonter un peu plus loin dans le temps.
Le skate n'a qu'une cinquantaine d'années, et c'est un sport [encore] jeune. Beaucoup d'entre nous, les vétérans, n'ont que quarante ou cinquante ans, et c'est extra qu'on soit encore là à rouler. Ceux qui savent d'où vient le skate, et qui en connaissent les racines, ceux là en ont conscience.

Alva a 54 ans, et Tony Hawk n'a plus toutes ses dents (depuis ce week end).
Bob Biniak est mort.
Il reste Cliff Coleman qui est bien conservé !
